Halloween 2012

Elle chose to be Tiana from The Princess and the Frog movie. So, I found a frog costume for Todd. We went to Storybook Forest again. It was a great night with friends, the weather was perfect, and Elle really enjoyed it this year.

Todd flipped out about 3 seconds after this photo. I don't know what it was about this kid reading the story.
We also had Trunk-or-Treat at church, but went as the Goldilocks and the three bears. Unfortunately, we didn't get a family photo. The Mad Hatter Tea Party was awesome!

Elle had costume day at gymnastics so Todd wore his too to show support.

Elle also wore her costume to school and Todd wore his to MDO. We arranged to trick-or-treat through the office and Tuesday Ladies' class.

We also went to Pumpkinville at the Myriad Gardens for the first time this year. They had lots of cute decorations and activities in the children's garden. We went a couple of times it was so much fun!

pecan picking at mohawk park

We found gigantic acorns and lots of pecans at Mohawk Park in Tulsa a couple of Saturdays ago. It was beautiful weather! The kids loved playing in the leaves and running everywhere. We even saw deer come out as the sun started to go down. I think our count was up to 6 or 7. It was a fun evening with family doing something outside before the really cold weather hits this year. But we needed a bath as soon as we got home!

what Todd does at gymnastics

Until Todd starts walking, and can start his own gymnastics class, he's busy in the lobby with the chairs, toys, and other little ones!

daddy break = cousin playtime

We went to Tulsa for a day or so because we wanted to play and give Chris some writing time. Michelle took Corey to a visit so Derek and Ruby came to Grandma's to play. We always have a good time with them! I can't believe how fast they're changing. We even had a special older cousin sleepover. Todd just didn't think it was fair that he couldn't get in the bathtub with the other three. Love you Taylors!

Todd @ 10 months

I thought these pictures sum up Todd at 10 months old. Wiggly, happy, and climbing everything! Over the last month he went from one tooth to four. He consistently signs "more" and "all done" and has started waving bye-bye. As I said before he climbs anything and everything he can! Chairs, the dishwasher, toys, boxes, stairs, and slides... anything in his path. He loves going to Chick-fil-a for the food and the playground. He can walk along the couch or other things as long as he's holding on. He loves his Daddy and wrestling with him, but he's also quite a momma's boy. He and Elle play a lot more together. He loves his big sister and thinks she's so funny. His favorite thing to get ahold of is Elle's tricycle. He can now pull himself up to sitting on it. His other favorite thing to play with is the telephone or the wii remotes. Anything that remotely looks like a phone he holds up to his ear and talks to it. He's so sweet and happy. He is such a blessing to this family!

choo choo express

Last weekend I took Elle and Todd to the Day Out with Thomas. They have it every year at the Railway Museum. I figured we should go this year because Elle may not be into Thomas next year. Of course we picked a COLD day, but we were so busy we didn't really notice. They played at the train tables, got a Thomas balloon bracelet, and we rode Thomas! Elle did NOT want her picture taken with Sir Topham Hatt, nor did she want to look at the clown or be near the big Thomas to take a picture. She did have a really good time though.

The next day we went to a "carnival" at OC for Make-a-Wish. Elle got to ride this barrel train and had a blast! Todd liked it too, but was happier about picking out pumpkins. (Yes, it was so cold we pulled out winter gear!)
